IMPORTANT NOTE -- on May 20th, the City of Grand Ledge unexpectedly closed our venue, the Ledges Playhouse. We have arranged to present two of our 2022 shows at Riverwalk Theatre instead. For further updates on the situation, please follow us on Facebook or check our News page. The best and most immediate way you can support us in this time of crisis is to come and see "Songs About Stuff" and "The Realistic Joneses" this July. We'd like for our volunteers who have worked so hard on these productions to have enthusiastic audiences.

IMPORTANT 2022 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT: LEDGES PLAYHOUSE CLOSED UNEXPECTEDLY
May 30th, 2022
Over the Ledge’s first show of 2022, “The Realistic Joneses”, will not open as originally scheduled on June 2nd -- although it may be rescheduled for a bit later in the summer.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Ledges Playhouse will not be available for any of OTL’s Summer 2022 season. We have been working over the past week to find an alternate venue to produce some of our season in, and we will have more to say on the full impact to our schedule very soon.
On May 18th, while the City of Grand Ledge was working to de-winterize the Ledges Playhouse plumbing in preparation for our first show, the City determined that a building inspection was necessary to confirm occupancy safety. The inspector identified a number of issues that resulted in the City’s decision on May 20th that the building may not be occupied for performance at this time.
Over the Ledge supports the City’s decision; while it is painful, we agree that public safety is paramount, and Over the Ledge stands ready to assist the City in moving forward in support of this beautiful and historic building, and in ensuring a strong performing arts presence in the community.
Your support is appreciated, and will certainly be needed in the coming weeks and months. We’ll be reaching out again soon to let you know how you can help. Please follow us on Facebook or join our e-mail list to make sure you receive the most up to date announcements in the coming days. Until then – the show must (and will!) go on!
