Donations

We Need Your Support

In nearly all arts organizations, proceeds from ticket sales do not cover the full cost of producing a show.  The gap must be made up by asking you, as a generous supporter of the arts, to donate what you can in addition to your support as an audience member.  There are many ways to help our organization, including volunteering your time on one of our productions, but the most direct and effective way to help is to make a monetary contribution.

Ticket Price=Low     Entertainment Value=High

A large part of Over the Ledge's mission is to increase exposure to live theatre.  As part of researching how to accomplish that mission, we asked a number of people who do not currently attend live theatre to explain why they do not; without fail, one of the top two reasons always given was "It's too expensive."

We listened, and we've priced our tickets accordingly.  At $10/$8/$6 (adult, senior, student), our ticket prices stand out as uniquely affordable in the Greater Lansing area.  In order to keep those prices low and keep live theatre accessible, we need a little more help from those patrons who are able.  The following sections detail our fundraising campaigns, and provides financial information as to our goals.
